Anything Met made in the 80's is pure sonic gold. I don't think I'll ever get sick of the "...And Justice For All" album. Ever. I always hold onto some ray of hope before they release a new album only to have that ray utterly destroyed by the pure aural shit that emanates from my speakers when I select their new tunes and hit "Play".

I'm doing my best to fool myself into being excited for their new stuff now that they've (finally) ditched Bob Rock in favor of (hopefully) a producer that can remind them how to write a song that a) is heavy and riff-centric, b) contains a solo, and c) does not contain the lyrics "hey hey hey" or anything of the sort. Hopefully Rick Rubin can kick their asses back in line.

That is all.

Are you sure you mean Metallica? It seems in your post that maybe your intention was to refer to a band that was at one time good, then over the years became bad. Scientists have proven, one would assume, that Metallica has never been a good band.
